One man was killed and another injured in an attack in Fullerton on Wednesday evening. Authorities believe the attack may be related to gang violence.

Officers with the Fullerton Police Department responded to a fight in the 2400 block of West Valencia Avenue at approximately 6:15 p.m., police said in a news release.

When officers arrived, they found two men, both 20 years old, who had sustained “significant stab wounds” and were lying in the street. One of them was taken to a local trauma center where he was pronounced dead, the other was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

The attacker or attackers are still at large, but investigators believe the stabbings may be related to gang crime.
