CCSO: 3 arrested for murder in Clarendon County in April

CLARENDON COUNTY, SC (WOLO) – Clarendon County officials have arrested three people on murder charges in April, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office said officers found Earl Singletary dead from blunt force trauma to his upper body in an abandoned trailer on Mickey Street on April 28.

According to investigators from the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office, he was involved in an altercation a few days before his murder. Two juveniles and 24-year-old Qawiee Singletary were arrested.

One juvenile has been charged with murder, while charges are pending against the other. Singletary has been charged with obstruction of justice and third-degree assault.
