Pedestrian struck and killed in accident in Greenville County.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – A pedestrian died in a crash in Greenville County early Thursday morning.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident occurred before 4 a.m. on US 25 near SC 81. According to patrol officers, a Chrysler was traveling southbound when it collided with the pedestrian in the roadway.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office has not yet determined the pedestrian’s identity.

The crash remains under investigation by the SCHP.
