Khloé Kardashian feels ‘attacked’ as her family gets upset about her communicating with her children via FaceTime

Khloé Kardashian is criticized by her family for her parenting methods.

In this week’s episode of The KardashiansThe 40-year-old co-founder of Good American has dinner with her sisters Kendall Jenner, 28, and Kim Kardashian, 43, as well as her mother Kris Jenner, 68, and her mother’s boyfriend Corey Gamble, 43, while vacationing in Aspen.

As the family begins to chat about Kim planning to meet Gypsy-Rose Blanchard, Khloé says goodnight to her daughter True via FaceTime, causing annoyance at the table.

“I’m at a restaurant. You think I look weird? I’m wearing a fur hat,” Khloé says to True.

In a confessional, Kim expresses her frustration with Khloé interrupting dinner to talk to her children.

“That’s the way it is. She’s so focused on what’s happening at home that she can’t have a good time,” Kim says. “We can’t do that as much anymore. It’s really rare that we get to go on these family vacations, and I just want Khloé to enjoy dinner, enjoy the moment, be with us right now.”

Back in the scene, Khloé continues her phone conversation, which visibly upsets Kris. In a confessional, the momager says, “Okay, Khloé, I love you and I’m not going to take sides, but Kim is right. Put your phone down. We’re almost here.”

At dinner, Khloé tells True, “Okay, I love you. Who’s so cute?” In the background, Kris can be heard saying, “Bye, see you later, gotta go, bye.”

“Just because you don’t want to call your kids to say goodnight…” Khloé says to her mother, who replies, “I’m with my kids. We’re having dinner. Come on.”

In her own confession, Khloé says, “Wait, I should be more present, but Kim didn’t look up from her phone the entire dinner? She’s scrolling through Instagram… Okay, I’ll be more present.”

“That’s why I don’t like leaving the gate because I feel like I’m going to be attacked at any second,” Khloé adds.

New episodes of The Kardashians airs every Thursday at 12pm ET on Hulu.
