Traffic report: I-270 southbound closed Thursday morning due to fire service

According to Montgomery County Police, southbound I-270 is currently closed at Montrose Road due to fire operations.

MCPD tweeted the following at 4:49 a.m. on Thursday, July 4: “TRAFFIC ADVISORY: I-270 southbound is closed at Montrose Road due to fire response. Drivers are advised to use an alternate route. Expect delays.”
