Real Salt Lake (11-3-7, 40 points) triumphed in a thrilling 3-2 win over the Houston Dynamo in front of 21,522 fans at America First Field, marking the third-largest attendance in the venue’s history.

Braian Ojeda scored his first MLS goal to secure the win, assisted by Andrés Gómez, who also scored a goal and provided two assists.

Despite conceding an early goal from Houston’s Ibrahim Aliya in the 8th minute, RSL quickly responded.

Andrés Gómez equalized in the 22nd minute, taking advantage of a defensive error to score his 11th goal of the season. Diego Luna then gave RSL the lead (2-1) in the 42nd minute with a stunning strike.

The second half was marked by intense action, with Houston equalising in the 55th minute thanks to a deflected cross from Héctor Herrera.

However, Ojeda’s decisive goal in the 67th minute, following a pass from Gómez and a slide from Chicho Arango, secured the victory for RSL.
