Two arrested for raping a woman in Hyderabad

On June 30, the victim met real estate agents Sanga Reddy and Janardhan, who offered her a room to freshen up in Sri Lakshmi Hotel in Miyapur and told her that they would pick her up in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, the defendant picked them up by car and the three

drove to Yadagirigutta. At about 10.30 p.m., the accused pretended that the car had broken down and had stopped at a remote place.

They asked her if she needed anything, to which she replied no.
However, Janardhan gave her a cold drink and a sweet. After consuming it, she felt dizzy and informed the accused about it. They started giving her the sweet and said that she must be dizzy because she had an empty stomach.

The accused took advantage of the moment, undressed her, raped her and even beat her. They dropped her off at the hostel and fled the scene.

The next morning, the victim felt severe pain. She filed a complaint with the Uppal police, but they did not file an FIR and transferred the case to the Miyaour police.
