Child dies in boating accident on Lake Texoma

According to authorities, a six-year-old boy died in a tragic accident during a severe thunderstorm at Lake Texoma.

According to firefighters, the boy was in a boat with eight people on board that capsized.

Authorities said everyone was wearing life jackets, but the boy became entangled in ropes under the boat when it capsized.

He was recovered from the water and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
