Murder: Man hires gang to kill youth who raped his daughter | News from Coimbatore

Tirupur: A 25-year-old man, who lured a 14-year-old girl into a sexual relationship and shot videos of their intimate moments, was murdered in Tirupur in the early hours of Wednesday by a gang sent by the girl’s father. The deceased has been identified as Bhuvaneswaran, who hailed from Manapparai in Trichy. He was staying at Kanakkampalayam in Tirupur. The girl’s father paid Bhuvaneswaran’s friend Tamilarasan to take him to a remote place where the gang murdered him. Police have arrested the girl’s father and launched a hunt for the 10-member gang, which includes Tamilarasan. According to police, Bhuvaneswaran had taken the minor girl to various places and sexually abused her. He took photographs and videos of the girl in compromising positions. Bhuvaneswaran’s friend Tamilarasan, who got hold of the videos, demanded money from the girl’s father and threatened to post them online if he did not pay him. The girl’s father approached the police, who warned Bhuvaneswaran and Tamilarasan and got the videos deleted. However, even after the incident, Bhuvaneswaran continued to court the girl. Angry, the girl’s father called Tamilarasan and promised to pay him the previously demanded amount if he murdered Bhuvaneswaran. Tamilarasan agreed and invited Bhuvaneswaran to Thirumuruganpoondi on Tuesday night. After consuming alcohol, he took Bhuvaneswaran to a remote place after midnight. When Bhuvaneswaran reached the place, he was hacked to death by a gang waiting there, police said.
