Two men and a minor arrested for weapons and drug offenses

JEANERETTE, La. (KLFY)– Two men and a juvenile were arrested on weapons and drug charges, according to the Jeanerette Marshal’s Office.

With the assistance of the Jeanerette Police Department, the Marshal’s Office arrested Quinton Thompson, 20, of Jeanerette, who was charged with possession of Schedule I drugs, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, inducing a juvenile to commit a crime, obstruction of justice and two counts of resisting an officer.


Authorities also arrested Tyrese Thibodeaux, 23, of New Iberia. He was charged with no driver’s license, license plate mismatch, three counts of resisting an officer, possession of Schedule I drugs and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Additionally, a juvenile was arrested and charged with possession of Schedule I drugs, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, and unlawful possession of a handgun by a juvenile.
