A man and a teenager robbed and attacked victims in Dekalb: Police | MyStateline

DEKALB, Ill. (WTVO) – Dekalb Police have arrested 19-year-old Jacques Alexander and a 15-year-old juvenile for alleged robbery and assault of victims.

On July 1, police responded to a reported robbery in the 800 block of Ridge Drive. Victims told investigators they were beaten and robbed by two masked individuals.

According to authorities, the suspects took a cell phone, among other things. The victims identified Alexander from a photo lineup and the teenager from photos on social media.

Officers obtained and executed a search warrant for Alexander’s residence. They found the victim’s iPhone, house keys, national identification, credit card and EBT card.

The two suspects are accused of robbery, grievous bodily harm and bullying.
