Person arrested for attempting to enter Drake’s Toronto home

Drake’s home front was once again compromised. A person was arrested for attempting to gain entry to his residence in Toronto.

Local police were called and arrived at the scene at around 2pm on Wednesday (May 8) to arrest the intruder. “The individual was arrested under the Mental Health Act,” Toronto said CityNews a police spokesman reported.

This came just a day after a security guard was shot outside the building For all dogs Artist’s House. The shooting was ruled a drive-by incident as the suspects sped away in a vehicle before police could arrive at the scene on Tuesday morning (May 8) and therefore cannot be identified at this time.

Fans quickly suspected that both incidents had to do with Drake’s intense rap feud with Kendrick Lamar. Notably, one of the Compton, California rapper’s songs, “Not Like Us,” featured a photo of the “Rich Baby Daddy” rapper’s house on the cover. There are several red dots scattered throughout the photo, indicating the presence of sex offenders. It’s not the first time Drizzy’s home has had to contend with intruders, but the timing makes it easy to figure out the connection.

Regarding the shooting, Toronto Police Inspector Paul Krawczyk said it was too early to link the unfortunate incident to anything that happened with K. Dot, but he was familiar with the incident.

Another aspect of this situation is the fact that Weeknd manager Cash XO’s security guard was shot last week at Amastoy Estates in Encino, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. Three masked men entered the house and opened fire when they came into contact with the security guard, who was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries. The Weeknd has been a secondary part of this gang with his appearances on Future and Metro Boomin’s recent albums We don’t trust you And We still don’t trust youboth of which featured subliminal shots of 6 God and Lamar’s incendiary “Like That” verse.

The Weeknd diss Drake and his OVO crew on “All To Myself,” singing, “Ooh, look at the way we move, baby/ They could never diss my brothers, baby/ When they got leaks in their surgery/ Me.” Thank God I never signed my life away/ And we never talk big/ These shooters do TikToks/ Make us laugh in the Lambo.”

The latest song released as part of this ongoing feud arrived on Sunday night (May 5): “The Heart Part 6” by 6 God. He revealed that he intentionally spread fake information about a secret 11-year-old daughter, knowing it would be used by Kendrick Lamar to try to bring him down, and questioned why his fiancée Whitney Alford didn’t deny allegations that he abused her have disputed.

Fans were treated to a deluge of songs this past weekend, starting with K. Dot’s “6:16 In LA” on Friday morning (May 3), followed by Drake’s “Family Matters” in the evening and Lamar’s uptempo counterpart “Meet The Grahams” shortly before the end 30 minutes later. The DAMNED. The artist arguably made the biggest splash with his Saturday night (May 4) release “Not Like Us,” an upbeat West Coast jam that’s taken over the internet, clubs and streaming services.
