Channel 2’s Tom Jones I spoke to Cynteria Lomnick, who said she didn’t hear from the school district for a few months. When she asked her attorney to send her a cease and desist letter, she finally learned that an investigation was underway.

Lomnick said that on May 3, she received the worst call a parent could receive from Crawford Long Middle School.

“My son passed out and he’s unconscious,” Lomack said. “And at that point, my heart started beating faster. I started crying.”

Lomnick rushed to the school, where paramedics were tending to her son, who was crying and had an ice pack on his face.
