Troy man arrested on drug and weapons charges

TROY, NY (NEWS10) — Troy police reported the arrest of a Troy man on drug and weapons charges. 26-year-old Nashier Clayton was arrested Tuesday.

• Criminal possession of a controlled substance

Troy police said officers were executing a search warrant when they found Clayton in a car nearby. Clayton allegedly had two illegal handguns, as well as cocaine, heroin and fentanyl.

Clayton was arraigned in Troy Municipal Court and taken to the Rensselaer County Jail.
