More than a dozen buyer groups will hit the Atlanta and Las Vegas markets this month

Nearly 20 buying groups and trade associations are expected to participate in the Atlanta Marketplace and Las Vegas Marketplace later this month to assist with industry education events, as well as purchasing and networking.

The summer markets – the Atlanta market will run from July 16-22, while the Las Vegas market will run from July 28-August 1 – will be packed with opportunities for market visitors to participate in on-site activities with a variety of industry partners.

“Andmore enthusiastically welcomes returning industry partners to the upcoming Atlanta and Las Vegas markets,” said Karen Olson, Andmore’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer. “These collaborative initiatives provide a unique opportunity for members and non-members to engage directly with influential industry organizations and buying groups. Market Week promises to be a hub of product sourcing, peer recommendations and community support, all under one roof.”

In Atlanta, 14 trade association groups and partners are currently planned: American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA); Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM); Brixy ; Christian Retail Association (CRA); CRAFT Retailers & Artists for Tomorrow (CRAFT); Fair Trade Federation (FTF); GC Buying Group; HTI Buying Group; Independent College Bookstore Association (ICBA); MAI Retailers; Munce Group; Museum Store Association (MSA); Southwest Buying Group (SWBG); and The Good Toy Group (TGTG).

Andmore plans to host a VIP roundtable that will bring together retailers from different buying groups and associations to discuss current and developing industry trends.

“ICBA is committed to helping our member stores gain access to key brands and helping market exhibitors better understand the college retail industry,” said Jon Bibo, ICBA CEO. “By visiting both ANDMORE Summer Markets with our ICBA buyer groups, we can help them prepare, shop and purchase complementary products for their college store assortments.”

Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, eight professional member organizations are expected to participate in the market, with the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) making its market debut. AGM CEO Jennifer Morton will also join the 2024 summer class of Market Pros to provide insight into golf merchandising.

“It’s very important for me to participate in the Andmore markets,” Morton said. “I want to make sure I go to the Las Vegas market, so I can stay on top of the trends and spend a full day in Las Vegas buying temporary products.”

Also exhibiting at the Las Vegas market will be the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA); the Fair Trade Federation (FTF); the Independent College Bookstore Association (ICBA); the International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP); the Museum Store Association (MSA); the Pacific Furniture Dealers; and the Spa Industry Association (SIA).

Schedules of educational events for both markets can be found on their respective websites.
