Shooting and assault in Falls Twp. under investigation.

Falls Township police said a handgun was used in an attack early Wednesday morning on Kennedy Drive.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Falls Township police are investigating an attack early Wednesday morning that included a handgun being fired.

At 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Falls Township police responded to the Kennedy Drive apartment complex in Fairless Hills to investigate reports of shots fired.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a few minutes earlier, there had been a disturbance between a group of people in the parking lot, during which a resident of Kennedy Drive was attacked.

At least one shot was fired from a pistol either before or after the attack.

So far, no injuries have been reported to the police.
