Woman drugged and sexually abused in a car

Hyderabad: A woman was drugged and raped by her colleagues in a car in Hyderabad.

According to police, the victim went to work at Miyapur in Suncity on June 30. Two real estate agents in Sun City met her and offered her a place to freshen up at Sri Lakshmi Hostel in Miyapur. They informed her that they would pick her up in the afternoon. At 12 noon on the same day, Sanga Reddy and Janardhan picked her up from the hostel by car and drove to the site in Yadagirigutta.

After the competition, at 10.30 pm, they stopped their car at a building under construction, told her that the car had broken down and asked the woman if she wanted something to eat. Although she refused to eat anything, Janardhan brought her a cool drink and sweets.

After drinking the drink, she felt dizzy. Sanga Reddy Janardhan took advantage of this and abused her. They also sexually harassed her one after another, which caused her to suffer severe pain. They then left her at Sri Lakshmi Hostel in Miyapur where the two fled.

Based on the complaint, the police registered a case under 376,323,509,420 IPC

They arrested the accused and sent them into custody.
