Two injured in suspected terror attack in northern Israel – Israel News

A knife attack took place in a shopping mall in the city of Karmiel in northern Israel on Wednesday afternoon, Magen David Adom (MDA) said.

Two injured

Two people were injured in the attack. A man in his twenties was unconscious and in critical condition, the MDA said. Paramedics performed CPR on him.

Another person suffered serious injuries. Both were taken to hospital.

Police said the attack had been stopped and emergency services were on site.

MDA paramedic Ran Moskowitz reported what he saw when he arrived at the scene. “When I arrived at the mall, I was sent to the second floor. I saw two injured people, men in their twenties, lying near the stalls with penetrating injuries, one was unconscious. We took them to the intensive care unit while we provided them with medical attention. One of them was in critical condition, the other was conscious and in serious condition.”
