Airman killed by Florida deputy who broke into wrong apartment

CIVIL LAWYER BEN CRUMP SAYS AN AIR FORCE AIRMAN WAS FATALLY SHOT LAST WEEK BY A DEPUTY WHO BREAKED INTO THE WRONG HOUSE IN OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA.

SENIOR AIRMAN ROGER FORTSON WAS ON A FACETIME CALL WHEN DEPUTY FORCED INTO HIS UNIT IN RESPONSE TO A TROUBLE CALL AT THE COMPLEX.

Deputies shot FORTSON six times after he was seen with a legally owned gun. He died later in hospital. The responding deputies have been placed on administrative leave.

Local law enforcement and Florida law enforcement are investigating the incident while calling for TRANSPARENCY and the release of body cam footage.
