Woman arrested for murder of another Upstate woman, deputies say

THE CORPORATE COMPLAINANT SAYS 60-YEAR-OLD PAMELA BROCKMAN DIED LATER ON SUNDAY. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD WHITE IS FACING A CONVICTION.

Woman arrested for murder of another Upstate woman, deputies say

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said it is currently involved in the investigation of a fatal shooting.

According to Spartanburg County police, a woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Chesnee, South Carolina, woman. Officers were called to Ross Road on Friday, June 28, for reports of a shooting, officials said. There they found Pamela Brockman, 60, of Chesnee, who had been shot, officials said. Brockman died Sunday, according to the Spartanburg County coroner. Officers identified Barbra Ann White, 63, as a suspect in the shooting investigation. She was taken into custody shortly after the shooting and charged with attempted murder, officials said. Officials now expect the charge to be upgraded to murder on Wednesday. Officials have not released a motive for the shooting. White is currently being held in the Spartanburg County Detention Center.

A woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Chesnee, South Carolina woman, according to Spartanburg County officials.

Officials said officers were called to Ross Road on Friday, June 28, for reports of a shooting.

There they found 60-year-old Pamela Brockman of Chesnee, who had been shot to death, officials said.

According to the Spartanburg County Coroner, Brockman died on Sunday.

Officials identified 63-year-old Barbra Ann White as a suspect in the shooting.

She was taken into custody shortly after the shooting and charged with attempted murder, officials said.

Officials now expect the charge to be upgraded to murder on Wednesday.

Deputies have not released a motive for the shooting.

White is currently in the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
