Shortly before 6 a.m. on June 15, Omaha police responded to a call from an adult female reporting that she had been raped in the area of 12th and Gallup Drive. The victim told officers that she was out walking when Williams began following her.

The woman told police Williams punched her in the face before forcing her to have sex with him. She was eventually able to escape and find help nearby. Based on the victim’s description, OPD investigators identified Williams as the suspect.

Williams agreed to an interview and told officers he remembered having sex with the victim, but it was consensual. He claimed he arranged sex with the woman for money and denied ever hitting her, but the police affidavit states officers at the scene noticed bruising on the victim’s face consistent with a punch.

Williams’ bail is set at $750,000. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 7. Williams previously served a 6-12 month sentence in Lancaster County in 2017 for soliciting prostitution.
