Couple arrested after investigation in Pickens Co

PICKENS COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – A couple is facing drug charges following an investigation in Pickens County.

According to the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, on April 16, officers with the assistance of Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant at a home on Stephens Road.


During the search, officers found a large amount of methamphetamine and several firearms, including two stolen ones.

Officers arrested Robert Jack Guible at the home.

Robert’s wife, Jennifer Lynn Guible, was also at the scene and was arrested.

Robert Guible was charged with:

  • Trafficking in methamphetamine 28-100 grams third offense.
  • Possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
  • Receiving stolen goods valued at $2,000 or less.
  • Possession of a stolen handgun.
  • Possession of a firearm by a person convicted of PWID.

Jennifer Guible has been accused of:

  • Trafficking in methamphetamine 28-100 grams third offense
  • Possession of a weapon during a violent crime
  • Receiving stolen goods valued at $2,000 or less
  • Possession of a stolen handgun

Robert Guible is currently being held in a federal detention center and Julie Guible is currently being held without bail in the Pickens County Detention Center.
