Brochu Walker New Atlanta Quiet Luxury Clothing Store

Brochu Walker, the Los Angeles-based understated luxury brand, is expanding its store footprint with an Atlanta boutique opening August 9.

Located in Buckhead Village, the approximately 1,800-square-foot store features a luxurious, updated design concept that reflects the brand’s mantra: luxury living. Every element of the space is inspired by owner and creative director Karine Dubner’s French upbringing and passion for luxurious details.

The company partnered with New York design firm Paul Bennett Architects for the store at 260 Buckhead Avenue.

Brochu Walker’s current store roster includes Carmel-by-the-Sea, Calif., Westport, Conn., and Southampton, N.Y. The company plans to open two more stores in the second half of this year, in Texas and Connecticut.

Atlanta, one of Brochu Walker’s top five markets, was selected based on consumer insights and a desire for an urban feel.

“We choose our markets carefully. Every location is considered with the desire to be part of the community and Atlanta has that big city, small town feel that we love,” said Dubner, who acquired Brochu Walker in 2013.

The boutique will feature Brochu Walker’s signature pastel pink awning, evoking a European feel. The boutique is peppered with elegant and feminine architectural elements, as well as oak floors and olive trees that subtly reference the South of France.

The store opens with the summer line and some fall pieces.

Brochu Walker is located between Jenni Kayne and Rag & Bone. Other retailers in the Buckhead Village District include Veronica Beard, Alice & Olivia, Vuori, Theory, Moncler, Hermès, Todd Snyder, Dior and Warby Parker.

“I wanted to create a serene, yet very welcoming space, discreet enough to let our collection be the centerpiece while still allowing our customers to experience the true sensibility of Brochu Walker,” Dubner said.
