Atlanta Braves vs San Francisco Giants Game Thread

The Atlanta Braves will face the San Francisco Giants tonight in the first game of a three-game homestand.

The Braves’ offense has struggled once again, while the Giants’ offense has shown some nice improvement. Fortunately, Reynaldo López is ready to take the mound, and he happens to have the best ERA in MLB among pitchers who have pitched at least 70.0 innings.

The Giants bring Hayden Birdsong to the mound for his second career start. This game appears to be in the Braves’ favor, but there are a lot of unknowns. No Braves player has faced Birdsong before, and only two Giants have more than three at-bats against López.

The first pitch will take place at 7:20 p.m. ET.
