Man arrested for sexually abusing 4-year-old girl: Norwalk police

A Norwalk man accused of sexually abusing a four-year-old child was arrested this week, police said.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man accused of sexually abusing a 4-year-old child last year was arrested Monday, police said.

In a press release, Police Sergeant Ryan Evarts said the department’s Special Victims Unit has begun investigating a May 2023 incident in which a four-year-old child was reportedly sexually abused by Ricardo Cruz Cisneros, 27, of Norwalk.

According to Evarts, an arrest warrant was issued for Cruz Cisneros on Monday. He was later spotted driving in Norwalk early Tuesday morning and arrested.

Cruz Cisneros was charged with first-degree sexual abuse and endangerment of minors.

His bail was set at $750,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court later this month, according to Evarts.
