‘In-Style’ thief on the run after stealing $5,000 worth of Versace merchandise from Houston Premium Outlet store

HOUSTON (KIAH) — A local business needs the public’s help after thousands of dollars worth of merchandise was stolen in broad daylight.

On Saturday, June 29, officers from Constable Mark Herman’s office were called to the Versace store at the Houston Premium Outlet Mall, located in the 29000 block of Northwest Freeway, for a report of a theft. When officers met with management, they reported that an unknown person had entered the store and selected
various goods valued at just under $5,000.


Management claims to have confronted the man, who then fled without paying for the goods. A witness recorded the suspect on his cell phone.

The photo above, provided by the office of Constable Marh Herman, shows a black man in his thirties committing this offense, with the unpaid merchandise in his hands.

The man was then seen getting into a black 2011 Chevrolet Volt with temporary plates.
