Vinemont man dead after shooting; CCSO searches for suspect

CULLMAN, Alabama. – A July 1 shooting in the Vinemont area left Dylaan Bomberry-Wright, 29, of Vinemont dead. The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the suspect, Jamarion Allen Harrison, 20, of Birmingham.

The CCSO said deputies and investigators responded to a report of a shooting in the Vinemont area on Monday.

Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick identified the victim who was shot and taken to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The CCSO said the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. A warrant for his arrest was issued for murder.

According to CCSO, Harrison and the victim were in an apartment with another person. An altercation ensued between Harrison and the victim, which ultimately led to Harrison allegedly shooting the victim.
