“A vampire dog!” Owner desperate after her pet was VIOLENTLY ATTACKED in a park

A woman has spoken out after her pet was brutally attacked by a larger dog and the other owner refused to take the blame.

Lucinda was walking her four small dogs in West Wood Park Chalfont at 4pm yesterday, Monday 1st July, when a large dog grabbed one of the dogs by the neck and started shaking him.

“Three of my dogs were on leashes and I had just let the fourth one go to untangle the others,” she said. “The large dog was near me and the owner was talking to two other men.”

“Within a nanosecond, I turned around and my dog was being shaken in the mouth. My dog is still small and was lifted off the ground. I thought he was dead! I was really upset.”

Lucinda then took a photo of her dog in the other dog’s mouth as proof that the situation had happened. She then rushed in to free her pet from the other dog’s mouth. Thankfully, he was still alive.

She said that the owner of the other dog did not do much to improve the situation and took the whole thing pretty calmly.

“I asked him if it was OK to take his information and he immediately went on the defensive,” she said. “He even told me it wasn’t his dog, which I now realize was a lie because he later admitted it was.”

“He told me it was my dog’s fault because he approached his dog and that I should have asked if it was OK first.”

Lucinda then asked the man to buy a muzzle, but he refused, saying it was her fault as the owner and his dog had never done anything like that before.

She was later approached by another dog owner who said he had previously seen the man’s dog attack other pets in the park and commented that he was “very reactive.”

The dog owner then asked the two men he was speaking to if they could provide their numbers as witnesses, and stated that they agreed that it was Lucinda’s dog that was at fault.

They both gave their numbers, even though they were previously too afraid to help Lucinda free her dog from the larger dog’s mouth.

“Not only that, the big dog had my dog’s blood dripping from his teeth!” she said. “He looked like a vampire dog!”

Later that day, Lucinda took her pet to the vet, where he was shaved and treated with antibiotics.

He was covered in bites from the attack, and she and her daughter stayed awake with him all night, fearing he would not recover from his injuries.

The police were asked for a statement.
