Atlanta Comedian Paul Ollinger Stays Connected – WABE

In the “City Lights” series “Speaking of Comedy,” Atlanta’s funniest residents share their insights on the perks and pitfalls of their profession. This edition features Atlanta comedian Paul Ollinger.

“Comedy has taken me all over the city. I’ve learned a lot about the city and met people I wouldn’t have known if I was a suburban dad working for a corporation,” Ollinger said. “Over the last decade, I’ve made friends with people like Yohanse Collins, Katie Hughes, Nick Murphy, Lace Larrabee, Bob Place. I’ve spent a lot of time with these people and I consider them my friends. I wouldn’t know them if we didn’t all share a love of comedy.”

Ollinger is also co-host of the podcast “Crazy Money,” which has featured guests including LL Cool J, Judd Apatow, Moby, author Ryan Holiday and Nobel Prize, Heisman Trophy and Olympic gold medal winners.
