Injuries reported after three-car crash on Highway 160 in Sacramento County

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (July 2, 2024) – At least one person was injured in a multi-car crash on Highway 160 near Brannan Island Road.

The three-car crash occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Under unclear circumstances, two vehicles collided head-on and a third vehicle was involved in the crash. California Highway Patrol officers subsequently arrived at the scene of the accident in Mackenson and learned that an ambulance was needed for at least one victim.

The collision caused traffic jams for pedestrians on Highway 160.
