Pulaski police are asking for help finding missing man Paul Hanks

PULASKI, Va. – Pulaski Police are asking for help locating 33-year-old Paul Hanks. They say he is missing and endangered.

Hanks was last seen on video around 7:45 a.m. Monday at the Food Lion area on East Main Street in Pulaski

According to police, Hanks was walking and appeared to be heading toward Hiwassee/Allisonia on the New River Trail. Hanks may have been spotted on the trail around 9:00 a.m. Hanks used to live in this area and is known to frequently stumble into caves off the trail.

Hanks is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie or jacket, blue jeans and carrying a small backpack.
