Police search for missing South Boston man

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. (WDBJ) – South Boston police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.

Police say Carlton Chalmers, 62, is described as a black man with brown eyes and black hair, 5’9″ tall and weighing about 150 pounds. Police say he was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray tank top.

According to police, Chalmers was last seen on Lincoln Drive on June 26.

Anyone with information on Chalmers’ whereabouts is asked to call 911, the South Boston Police Department at 434-575-4273 or the Halifax County 911 Communications Center at 434-476-3334.
