Roommate dispute leads to stabbing, Atlanta police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – One person is in the hospital after an argument turned violent Monday night.

Atlanta police said shortly before 7 p.m., officers responded to a call about a person stabbed in the 2900 block of Campbellton Road SW. When they arrived on scene, officers said they located a 39-year-old man who had been stabbed.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

Responding officers said they arrested a potential suspect at the scene. Their preliminary investigation indicates that an argument between roommates escalated and the victim was stabbed.
