Man is sentenced after admitting to sexually assaulting another man

A man from Pembroke Dock has admitted sexually assaulting another man.

Matthew Gilbert, aged 39, of Water Street, Pembroke Dock, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates Court charged with sexual assault.

It was alleged that Gilbert touched the man without his consent in the Neyland area on September 28 last year.

On June 26, he pleaded guilty.

The defendant will be sentenced at Swansea Crown Court on 17 July and has been released on bail until that date.

It was ordered that a pre-sentence report be prepared and Gilbert was told he must report to the police.
