14-year-old killed, two injured in triple shooting in southwest Atlanta – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two minors injured and a teenager dead.

News on channel 2 arrived at the scene of the shooting on Peeples Street Southwest Tuesday night.

Police at the scene said News on channel 2 that three people were shot dead.

The APD later confirmed that the three people shot were all juveniles.

Among the three people injured by gunfire, a 14-year-old boy died.

Two other children were taken to hospital. One of the two hospitalized is in critical condition.

A family member of the deceased victim was at the scene and spoke with a News on channel 2 photographer off-camera.

She said her nephew’s 14th birthday was today.

Police are still investigating.
