Pittsburgh police search for man accused of firing shots on Liberty Avenue

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are searching for the person who opened fire along Liberty Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh Monday night.

According to Pittsburgh police, the shooting occurred along Liberty Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. Monday.

When officers arrived at the scene, witnesses reported that a man fired at least half a shot at people standing in front of a store and then left the area.

No one was hit by the shots.

Police say they have video of the man, who is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s.

Police say the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
