Driver stabs another driver multiple times in a video-captured incident of driving aggression in Ontario

ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) – In what appears to be a serious incident of road rage in Ontario, a driver brutally stabbed another driver – and the entire incident was captured on video.

It happened around 2 p.m. Saturday near Holt Boulevard and Mountain Avenue. Police said it all started when one driver cut off another.

According to several videos obtained by Eyewitness News, the confrontation quickly escalated.

Aggression in road traffic captured on video

Surveillance video from one of the businesses at the intersection shows a white SUV pulling into the parking lot. The driver then gets out and begins yelling and gesticulating at the driver of a silver SUV across the street.

At that moment, the driver of the silver SUV waits until the traffic eases, then races straight into the parking lot and parks right next to the white SUV.

The driver gets out, marches towards the white SUV and apparently tries to hit the driver.

It seems like it happens at least twice.

Eventually, the driver of the SUV gets back into his vehicle and tries to leave the scene of the accident. At that moment, a woman who was sitting in the white SUV apparently gets out and tries to record a video with her cell phone.

The driver in the silver SUV drives off – but it’s not over yet.

Driver stabbed as confrontation escalated

As the silver SUV drives off, the driver of the white SUV begins to follow it. Another camera from another company recorded the event from there and shows the driver of the white SUV getting out of the vehicle.

The driver of the silver SUV ahead of him then makes an illegal U-turn in the middle of the road, seemingly attempting to pin the white SUV to the road.

Then the violence escalates.

A cell phone video that has since been posted on TikTok shows the driver of the silver SUV ramming the white SUV.

The driver of the white SUV – wearing a white T-shirt and white pants – strikes back. He holds a knife in his right hand. Suddenly he approaches the driver of the silver SUV and stabs him several times.

The driver was injured but did not need to be taken to hospital. The man with the knife fled the scene but was later arrested.

Ontario Police Constable Josh Luster said if you find yourself in this situation, don’t try to resolve it yourself. Instead, call 911.

“You don’t want to get involved with these people, especially when they’re so emotional,” he said. “Look at the incident on Saturday, how quickly it escalated.”
