100-Year-Old Home Sells for Over $1 Million in Buffalo, New York

The sale of a more than century-old home in Buffalo’s Delaware District has become the 29th private residence in Erie County to sell for more than $1 million.

According to documents filed June 28 with the Erie County Clerk’s Office, David Zemsky paid $1.1 million for a circa-1910 home at 59 Cleveland Ave.

Zemsky purchased the home from the John A. Mitchell Revocable Trust 092515 and the Elizabeth S. Mitchell Revocable Living Trust, according to county clerk records.
The six-bedroom home has 3,915 square feet.

The Mitchells, prominent Buffalo businessmen and civic leaders, purchased a condo in Chason Affinitty’s recently completed Eleven Eleven condominium complex in late May.
Million-dollar home sales are considered a key economic benchmark in the regional residential real estate landscape.
