1 dead in Chandler officer-involved shooting

A suspect is dead after he was shot in a Chandler neighborhood Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Chandler officers responded to Carla Vista and Los Feliz drives just after 1:30 p.m. on May 8 on what was originally a domestic violence 911 call, police said on Facebook.

Police confirmed on Facebook that an officer-involved shooting had occurred and the suspect was dead.

No officers were injured.

An investigation is ongoing and police said there is no danger to the public in connection with the incident.
