  • Effingham City Police arrested Amy S. Rauch, 41, of Teutopolis, on two counts of criminal damage to property between $500 and $10,000 and violation of a protection order. Amy was transported to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested Mark C. Morales, 22, of Effingham, for possession of less than 5 grams of meth, an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated domestic violence, and a Coles County FTA warrant for aggravated domestic violence. Mark was transported to the Effingham County Jail.
  • The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joshua D. Mayberry, age 31, of Altamont, on an Effingham County warrant. Joshua was transported to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested Dylan R. Rentfro, 27, of Effingham, for theft under $500 and disorderly conduct. Dylan was transported to the Effingham County Jail.

  • Altamont Police arrested Christian L. Schneider, 27, of Shobonier, for DUI and eluding police. Christian posted bail and was released.
  • Altamont Police arrested Nicholas A. Gatewood, 43, of Altamont, on an Effingham County FTA warrant for permit to possess an inoperable vehicle. Nicholas posted bail and was released.
  • The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tevin M. Story, 29, of Charleston, on a Coles County FTA warrant for driving without a license and resisting a police officer. Tevin received an NTA and was released.
