2 dead in plane crash in Sheridan County

WICHITA, Kansas (KWCH) – Two people were killed in a plane crash in northwest Kansas Sunday evening.

The crash occurred at 6:10 p.m. 10 miles north of Hoxie in Sheridan County. David Allen of Elbert, Colorado, was flying a single-engine plane when it crashed into a field.

The 78-year-old and his 79-year-old passenger Jeanne Allen were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
