Investigations into shooting in southeast Shelby County ongoing

SHELBY CO., Tenn. (WMC) – Shelby County officials are investigating a shooting in southeast Shelby County.

Several officers are located on Newfound Gap Road at the corner of East Shelby Drive and Hacks Cross Road.

The shooting occurred shortly after 5 a.m. on Monday.

One person was shot.
