NYPD officer arrested for strangulation in domestic incident in Queens

QUEENS, NY — Maria Villalta, a 39-year-old NYPD officer, was arrested off-duty early Sunday morning on multiple criminal charges. The arrest occurred at 4:17 a.m. at the 106th Precinct.
