Massive number of these accidents in New York State

Summer is marching on and across New York State we are gearing up for the busy month of July. As we plan picnics and road trips, there is a new and scary report that has been released.

We’re so lucky that there are so many incredible things to do in New York State. From boating to hiking to all kinds of fun activities for the whole family, summer in the Empire State is one of a kind.

But don’t get too carried away by the excitement of summer, and don’t lose sight of safety. New York State has reported a shocking number of deaths from car accidents.

At the beginning of July, numerous sources and reports published the results of the latest accident reports. The number of traffic fatalities in New York has reached its highest level in a decade.

In a recent post on “X,” formerly known as Twitter, the New York State Comptroller announced the shocking findings.

The report showed that car crash deaths statewide increased 25.8% from 2019 to 2022.

This is the time of year when people are most distracted while driving and when there are more people on the roads. Children on bikes, motorcycles, pedestrians or runners are all reasons to be more alert when driving. Summer has just begun and now is the time to pay more attention behind the wheel.
