14-day-old baby found, Amber Alert lifted

An Amber Alert issued on Saturday for a 14-day-old baby was lifted after the baby, named Braxton, was found unharmed with his mother.

VALLEJO, Calif. – An Amber Alert issued Saturday for a 14-day-old baby has been lifted after the baby, named Braxton, was found unharmed with his mother.

The California Highway Patrol issued an alert on behalf of the Vallejo Police Department at 7:43 a.m. The case was being investigated for possible child abduction by a parent.

The alert was issued after Solano County Child Protective Services was unable to locate the baby or his mother, Valerie Manning.

The case is still being investigated by Vallejo Police. A police spokesman could not confirm whether Valerie Manning is in custody.
