Woman shot by police officers after allegedly firing gun in Gastonia Walmart parking lot – WSOC TV

GASTONIA, N.C. — A woman has been accused of firing shots in the parking lot of a Walmart in Gastonia Thursday morning.

Around 6:45 a.m., police received reports that a woman had vandalized her car in the parking lot of the Franklin Square Shopping Center.

Police said the woman suffered minor injuries and is expected to survive.

Witnesses told police the woman had a gun and was shooting.

When police arrived at the scene, another shot was fired and the woman was hit.
