Double shooting on Bourbon Street leaves two injured, police say

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The NOPD is investigating a two-person shooting that occurred in the 600 block of Bourbon Street that left two people injured Sunday evening (June 30).

According to police, the incident was first reported at around 7:01 p.m. and confirmed by authorities at around 7:18 p.m.

Both victims suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to a local hospital by emergency services.

Details about the condition of the victims and possible suspects are not yet known as the investigation is ongoing.
