The Block Club organizes a children’s bike parade

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Kids laughing, playing games and enjoying your community, it’s the perfect end to a summer weekend.

This is what the group Believe in Black Rock wanted to offer to its neighbors.

“It’s a great neighborhood, it’s a walkable community,” said Kilissa Cissoko, president of the Believe in Black Rock Neighborhood Block Club.

This is the second year they’ve hosted the event, a day of food and fun for local children.

“We had a good time, there were a lot of kids here. I hope next year we will have more, we are starting small and we hope to grow in the future,” Cissoko said.

There was free food to fuel a day of bonding with parents and their children in the neighborhood.
