Woman dies in accident after medical incident, says SAPD

SAN ANTONIO – A woman died Sunday as a result of a medical incident she suffered while driving on the Northwest Side, according to San Antonio police.

The accident occurred on Sunday around 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of Bandera Road and Mainland Drive.

According to a police report, a woman driving eastbound on Bandera Road lost control of her vehicle during a medical incident and crashed into another car.

The woman’s death was confirmed at the scene of the accident, police said.

No one in the other vehicle was injured in the accident.
