Man stabbed to death on Allegheny Avenue, investigation ongoing

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — A 39-year-old man was stabbed to death in the 24th Precinct early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:44 a.m. in the 400 block of E. Allegheny Avenue. The victim, who suffered a stab wound to the left shoulder, managed to walk to St. Christopher’s Hospital and was later transported to Temple University Hospital by private ambulance.

No crime scene could be found and no arrests were made. No weapons were seized either.

The East Detectives continue to investigate the case.
